Ticket prices

I’m a Wizards fan (cue laughter). I went to nba.com and looked for the least expensive seats available for 3 people between the Wizards and the Celtics in Boston. For the February 9th game, BEFORE fees, the least expensive seat I saw was $94.

That is nuts.

My question is, can you get tickets at the box office for less money? Is there a better way to get tickets? Also, what is the experience like sitting in BAL 311??

Check Gametime closer to game of. Should be better. Box office likely would not have processing fees but they’ll probably add it on anyway. Worth a call.

Balcony is fun! No bad seat really, just a little steep and slightly tight for tall folk but overall a good time

It’s on Friday night. That boosts prices regardless of opponent.

I’ve had luck buying from Stubhub at last sec. You could also try Ace Ticket, which has a satellite office right near the Garden.

But honestly, if you’re serious about going, I’d suggest biting the bullet now. ~$100ish per ticket seems expected for a weekend/Friday game.

What kills me is this is the same shit I’m seeing at the Barclays Center for a mid team with a kinda weak fanbase. To say nothing of the ticket broker epidemic where the instant tickets go on sale there are barely any to buy that aren’t somehow already resale

I’m resisting the urge to go on some dumb rant about how the resellers market has ruined live entertainment pricing, but that’s what you’re looking at.

Celtics are actually more expensive than Bruins, Sox, and Patriots which is just nuts. I get we are good but even to go to a shit game you are looking at triple digits.

Fwiw I’ve sat at the very top and still had a good time

Is this why the atmosphere sucks so much? Rich suits who don’t care about basketball and boomers trying to impress their arm candy.

    Balcony is great!!!

Don’t let the silver spoon people fool you.

The prices unfortunately keep going up.

My season tickets for balcony sideline, top 5 rows average at 108 a seat. 😤

    It’s not great.

What’s funny is there’s different markets for each number of seats you want.

Single seats versus pairs don’t always average out.
