My understanding is the Portland did not want to trade him to Miami unless they got everything so I’m okay with us not getting Dame. The issue I have as a heat fan is him going to Milwaukee that’s the worst case scenario.
Dame has had talent around him, especially when he had prime Aldridge, Batum, Matthews, CJ, and etc.
Dame even admitted a few years ago if he and Aldridge had gotten along, they might have won one. I am not convinced Dame would have been a big difference maker for the Heat. Heat didn’t lose much in terms of not getting Dame, it’s that he went to the Bucks, instead of the rumored Raptors, that’s a bigger problem.
I understand Miami fumbled the ball on that but you already lost like 2 or 3 of your piece from last year team do you really take that risk and giving up all the assets you do have for no depth like this the same story that this ESPN crew was arguing when Phoenix gave up a lot for KD. So I'm asking do Miami risk all that for just Dame in return seem like a third team wanted no part of it or did Miami seek a third team to help or maybe a fourth team
