Why Dame Makes Milwaukee THE TEAM To Beat

After months of rumors and speculation, Portland finally traded Damian Lillard. Not to his preferred destination in Miami, or north of the border to Toronto. But to Milwaukee, where the seven-time All-Star will be the perfect running mate for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

  1. These new reports on how it went down are eye opening: all makes sense now:
Blazers had no desire to honor Dame's wishes at any point because they got way too emotional about how Dame's agent did business- after all that the Heat's "all in" offer would have actually been better for everyone in a 3-way deal with the Suns. Oh well, at least this is all over I guess.

  2. Personal Potential Bucks Starting 5:

    Dame at PG obviously lol

Middleton at SG – A multiple-time All-Star who can get buckets and play competitive defense hoping to bounce back from his injury

Crowder at SF – Was underutilized by Bud, but can play great defense and knock down some spot-up 3s

    Giannis at PF 💪

Brook Lopez at C – Arguably should have won DPOY last year, is a great rim protector and a decent enough floor spacer.

    Bench:
    Portis (6th man)
    Pat Connaughton
    Marjon Beauchamp
    Malik Beasley
    Robin Lopez

  3. “The Bucks offense just went from unreliable to unfair” 😂😂 such a good line

  4. Bucks still have a deep hench. Casuals just sleeping on them

  5. Bucks moved amoung the top 3 contenders for finals this year because The Greek Freak and Lilliard that a dangerous combo .

  6. If Giannis inspires Dame the way he inspires everybody else, can you imagine how DEADLY a motivated Damian Lillard would be?

  7. Imagine having a guy as a 3rd option that can score 40 in a finals series and now will attract less attention because of Giannis and Dame! Khris gonna be fire this season!

  8. We'd like to thank the Miami Heat Organization for making all these things possible, Sincerely All the people singing Cloud Nine by Temptations in Milwaukee

  9. One thing no one’s mentioned about this trade for Milwaukee: they got to keep most of their draftees from the last few years.

I think they’ll risk having lower depth in the hope that one of those guys pans out, like Christian Braun or Giannis himself.

They can also keep those young guys in case their starters retire, Giannis leaves, or both.

  10. Every trade has a price. Every trade carries a risk. But what you have here is management that is willing to make an investment to win while they have the chance. You cannot ask for more. Giannis and Lillard now have the keys and the car.

  11. The only (current) problem the Bucks have is depth but they should be able to snag some good pieces on the buy-out market eventually.

  12. leFlop and the refs will beat whatever team is getting the hype. It'll be dramatic and espn will always glorify their idol.
