Scottie start PG then have DS off bench but playing 28 mpg at PG when healthy. SB 15 mpg DS 28 Jeff D 5 Mpg first half each game. Rest of SB Mins at forward

The Raptors finished 2nd in the NBA three consecutive years, winning the Larry O'Brien in the process, and people still said the Raptors weren't good enough. In particular, Steven A. Smith and Chris Broussard's discrimination and prejudice against Canada is well documented. As far as I know, neither have apologised for their hateful comments. But Canadians are used to it. Most people seem to think that Toronto will miss Fred VanVleet. Those who follow them closely will know how selfish he has been in the last few years, taking low probability shots when superior passing options were available. Dennis Schröder is not as good an overall player as Fred VanVleet, but he is a better fit for Toronto. They need to get the ball into the hands of O.G. Anunoby and Scottie Barnes more than it was last year. They will also benefit from a full year of Jakob Poeltl. They've been crying out for a centre since Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka left in free agency. Now they have Poeltl and the still developing Christian Koloko. And Gradey Dick is going to be a magnificent duo with Scottie Barnes for years to come.
The best move Raptors has done this off season is firing Nurse and letting that huge ego selfish hero ball chucker BumVleet walk. Fixing those two problems alone wins Raptors easily 10 extra games.
people hate on Toronto but we actually won a championship unlike the jazz,timberwolves,hornets,the suns ,the nets,the pacers,the clippers,the grizzlies,the pelicans,the magic did I miss anyone
One factor that's been overlooked all off-season is Nurse had a terrible system to force turnovers and play off transition, or just let Fred play hero ball, (which almost never worked), the whole season. He didn't draw up any plays to generate offense. Also, Fred hogging the ball and being inefficient chucking terrible shots took away an entire year of development from the rest of the young core. Everyone clowning on Raptors letting Fred walk, but they will be better next season.
you missed some other talent like Otto porter jr. Christian Koloko , Malachi Flynn , Jeff Dowtin , these guys played last year and we look for improvement this year. last year Fred played for a contract and padded his stats at others expense .we are excited about our new coach and also some great assistant coaches like jama, Thaddeus young still has some game and experience to help the younger guys.I hope we NBA fans have a great year good luck to you.
As a Canadian I understand that we’re underestimated because we’re outsiders. AM hoops just ranked the top 10 young teams and didn’t include the raptors. He included the magic, pacers, hornets. The raptors are a young squad and have established players on top of their depth. With the new coaching style it’s very possible that this team will be top 6 in the east.
You also didn’t mention Markquis Nowell who is a stud on the offensive side of the floor. With the length of the raptors they can probably afford to play him and use his upside on offense.
Blazer fan. First, you don’t need Holiday. You don’t need more point guards. You need to cut at least four players before camp. Would love having Dick or Aunoby on the Blazers. Why not help out a few teams by trading expiring contracts of other teams for players on the your team you don’t need. Or get a third team to facilitate a Harden trade. Or get a first in exchange for getting rid of bad contracts on other teams. Why be in a trade for another guard like Holiday. Why not use Miami as a trade partner by trading a guard or two you have along with Siakam for future draft picks?

I expect to see way more ball movement this year. Get it down low, kick it out for open threes to gradey / Gary / OG. I expect Scottie / pascal to have a better % from 3 this year. Also koloko man, he’s got so much promise. His shot looks good, it just wasn’t dropping. His positional defence is amazing. He’s a heat seeking missile when looking for the block
