The ’93-’94 New York Knicks were one of, if not the most popular Knicks team in franchise history. Posting a regular season record of 57–25, they defeated the Jordan-less Bulls in the Conference Semifinals, and the Reggie Miller led Pacers in a dramatic 7 game Conference Finals matchup.

Great documentary, almost 30 years have passed since that season and those finals….and yet, we have never had such a great player as Patrick Ewing again, such a great coach as Pat Riley and such a great team like those Knicks from the 93-94 season
They dint win why shud we memba?
All the Knicks have memories….
Great era in basketball
More of this please!
When you make a video of the 1994 playoffs' run and you have a thumbnail for it from the 1993 playoffs' run.
Only 9 comments? I will always LOVE an RESPECT the KNICKS PLAYOFF RUNS 🔥💯🏆. KYKVL4: ever R.I.P. ANTHONY MASON
Go from game 5 to game 7 vs Indiana no mention of game 6.
Call Bulls series a nailbitter don’t mention the fight that kept out the Knicks starting pg. or the Knicks comeback that ended with Kukoc’s shot, etc.
No mention of the 1st round, no mention of how the season went, Doc Rivers getting hurt, Mason being suspended by Riley, etc.
What’s the point of doing this?
1:38 A nice gift from Hue Hollins.
Cavolo oh nemmeno allora l’ha messa dentro… starks for life
Even though I hated seeing the Knicks take out the Bulls then, they're the most intriguing team from this era to me nowadays when I want to watch classic NBA. The modern NBA just seems so opposite of these gritty Knick teams that were the perfect foil for the Bulls and Pacers. If only there was some kinda NBA streaming service with all the games from back then. If only I were lucky enough to have been able to have DirecTV or whatever would've allowed me to watch out of network games in the 90's. The atmosphere these games had was electric, they were definitely some of the best matchups ever.
Their greatest opportunity to win the ring during the Riley era. One damn win away…
Spike Lee would've been that Cubs fan if the Knicks had lost to the Pacers. Lol
90’s Knicks were one of the hardest working teams ever
As a DIE-HARD Knicks fan of the 90's, these documentaries make
me sad. Strolling down memory lane, there's always the "what ifs" Knicks
did this and that, would they have won it all?! 😢
I'm a die hard Lakers fan and those Knicks teams are one of my best memories of the old NBA, I'm 45
What a good time to be alive. I was 10 years old watching this.
It breaks my heart as a Knicks fan cause this group of guys deserved so much to be champions.
Three straight game 7 series. What a tough team
One of my favorite teams in franchise history The Beloved New York Knicks
And then they met The Dream.
shouldve just ended the video at 8:54 damn
How did they lose a 3-2 advantage?
My favourite team of all time
Thank you Patrick, thank you Knicks ! I love you.. we will return to the finals again 🗽
Great respect for the New York Knicks…
96-97 Knicks team were amazing from top to bottom. But dang that dang PJ Brown screwed up that series
They hardly beat the Bulls without Jordan.
What’s the sound track
Growing up in New York and having a true love for the game of basketball, I was and still am a die hard Knicks fan. Those 90's teams especially 94 , I lived and died with, it hurts that they never won a championship
I was 11 years old and i still havent gotten over this season.
Still not over that Finals loss. In fact, it may be more painful now than it was when, because in real time, you figured this team would be back, maybe even multiple times. We now know that was our one and only chance, and we blew it.
Still my all-time favorite Knicks team (that whole Pat, Oak, Starks, Mase era), but man, we had Houston on the ropes and couldn't seal the deal.
Knicks had to go through the toughest teams, they were right there man, so close, still hurts.
i did do and will rank these elite teams in this EXACT order #1 1993 knicks #2 1994 knicks #3 2000 pacers and #4 1999 pacers and reggie miller talked about the 1990's knicks led by patrick ewing
1993-1994 season was the best and worst moment for Knick fans. Came so close to winning a championship and will never forget the mantra: GO NEW YORK! GO NEW YORK! GO!
As an 11 year old german kid, who wanted to play soccer, we found a court with baskets and started to play this game. It was 93' and there was no Jordan to admire. This Knicks Team started the fire and it burns to this day.
I wish they had discussed the flagrant foul Reggie Miller committed in the final seconds on John Starks. That was a special kind of guilty pleasure as a Knicks fan. Reggie was just trying to foul as quickly as he could to stop the clock and get the ball back. But he fouls Starks with this callous aggression, a two-hand shoulder shove. And the refs call the foul, which should only put the Knicks ahead by 3 at most with 4 seconds left. So the Pacers in theory should still be in it. But the ref calls it a flagrant (2 shots + the ball back to the Knicks which led to another intentional foul and 2 more free throws, Starks would make 3 of 4, just enough to put the game out of reach at 94-90), which they hardly ever did then. And Reggie was BESIDE HIMSELF! Pleading, arguing desperately with the refs as the Knick fans blew the lid off the Garden. It felt like sweet revenge for the choke sign he gave and the 25 point 4th quarter in Game 5. That Reggie had made the mishap to end Indiana's season. In addition to airballing the shot on the previous possession. That game in the final seconds, Patrick got it done and Reggie choked.
Remember guys, at that time it made sense to hear our fans shout "Defense !", NY loved to play defense, I miss that.
They have gone through each game 7 on east semis, east conf finals and lastly, lost in the finals.
Idk I personally think he should have got one, but the basketball gods thought otherwise…I was a Bulls fan and hated when he'd make that little drop shot fade away off the left baseline ( I mean every damn time 😬).
Is that just some random fan that Ewing hugged after game 7 of the pacers’ series? So good
My beloved Knicks…
