I'm truly hoping it didn't. But it seems more and more likely it's headed in that direction.
Logic tells you it's only so many times you can continue to over achieve, make the finals, come up short, not make any significant improvements and do it all over again.
Either way, Let's Go Heat. We're fortunate to have them. There's at least 20 other fan bases that wish they were in our position.
With these discussions it becomes clear to me that Bam has reached his ceiling. It’s a variable you guys don’t even take into account anymore bc deep down we all know Bam is just is who he is.

I feel sorry for Jimmy and I’m TIRED of you guys continuing to lie to Heat fans about how good BAM is. When any knowledgeable fan outside of MIAMI knows Bam is just a good ROLE PLAYER being hyped-up. Anthony Davis worse season is better than Bam’s best season.

Not getting Dame hurts a lot in the short term…But long term…We still have our assets, we can add more to the pile…And go after a super star that’s in there prime (mid-late 20’s)…Dame was worth it, but if your going to dump all your assets and go all in, it’s best to do so with a younger star..

People rave about golden state’s Front office …Like they drafted good and got three home grown stars…When that generation retires so is there contention..The Heat have been able to take multiple builds to the finals…That’s more impressive ..Same reason why I don’t respect the Bulls front officeC they got 6 titles but all with one man..As soon as he is gone, they don’t even make it past the 2nd round …So the Heat are doing something right to be able to constantly make it there with different casts …

The Heat need Jimmy more than Jimmy needs the Heat. That says a lot. Has never been that way
This team has avoided solid roster additions by going on whale hunts. Small moves like Rui Hachimora for example would have helped a lot. To continually put your entire off season on hold for long shot prospects has kept this team from getting over the hump.
The annoying thing is Jimmy definitely wins a chip if the Heat got him more help. We always have to hear about the same guys who choke in the playoffs. Gainnis doesn’t do what Jimmy does with Miami if the roles were flipped. Dame hasn’t done what Jimmy has in the playoffs. Joel chokes. Tatum and Brown haven’t been able to win even with a stacked roster. In the end it may be Jimmy’s fault for pushing for Lowry because that messed up any other chance to sign better options. Im just saying many of these superstars need all the help to win while jimmy just makes the most with what he’s got. All these guys complain about not having help threatening to leave while Jimmy just plays and makes zero excuses
