I'm a fan of Spencer Dinwiddie. He have the confidence of Jacque Vaughn and respect of his teammates. He's articulate, highly skilled, press savvy, and high character. He, taking opponents off the dribble going to the basket is a thing of beauty. I'll never get tire of seeing that. I'm glad to see him back with the Nets. I was sad to see the Nets let him get away in the first place. Regardless of what improvements Ben Simmons make, Spencer should remain our starting point guard and get the lion's share of that position. He's the team's leader and glue that hold the Nets together. The Nets should prioritize re-signing him to a multiyear contract.I look forward to seeing him led the Nets on their journey to success.
I've always compared Simmons strengths to Draymond's game. With Ben being vastly more athletic, it was no surprise that he was all-nba and all-defensive 1st team so early. The only difference between the two is their mentality, Draymond plays like he expects to dominate and Ben showed that trait in moments. But I think this year we will see the greatest version of Ben that we've seen at any point in his career. Im expecting 15ppg 12reb 8ast per game.
