We knew when the trade happened he was leaving when his contract is up. He's going to NY where his family is and anyone who says different is just lying to themselves. Hopefully he lets this team do a sign and trade instead of just leaving
Trade Mitchell now when Cavs can get the most in good players and draft picks. Garland was better in playoffs, and will develope faster if he doesn't defer to Mitchell. Mitchell won't stay as free agent (even Lebron left, 2 times and he was local.)
No one with good sense reveals their cards prematurely. Is he calculated? Yea, I’d say so. What millionaire isn’t? Comparing a mvp/champion to a player that has yet to make one 1st team anything is….a choice. Sounds like you just have your own agenda to push. Making videos about a whole lotta nothing every week already so I think you’ll be fine if he doesn’t give you anything else to talk about for your show. Unfortunately, you likely will be waiting like everyone else.

As long as the players show up to play and do their job for the time being anything beyond that is not mines, yours or anyone else not named the cavs business.
Watch enough ball and you’ll outlive the average nba career. Players are temporary teams are not. If you root for a team root for the team, if you root for the players root for the players. It’s not a given but a privilege when a player and a team can stay together for the long haul.
At the end of the day players will and should do what is best for themselves bc that is the shared mentality of all 30 teams, bottom line. The fans suffer not because of the players but because of teams inability to keep their employees. No different than any other field. Hell the pelicans just lost one of their best writers to the spurs and no one is writing home about it.
Don't know who else NY could throw in but any Donovan to them should include Brunson
