how did both these guys bust so bagley

Some exec in Detroit probably thought they got good players because those players were drafted high, and that they could could somehow magically unlock their potential.

    The Detroit Hubristons

  3. I will say this, Monty as a player coach and culture builder? maybe the best in the league. As far as X’s and O’s go? He is lower third.

Wiseman, Bagley, Killian, are being forced to compete for a role this season in Detroit and compete for playing time, and I think that’s great news. No more handing playing time to players performing like hell just because of their draft status or the money they make. They gotta earn it and be held accountable. Monty is gonna do that.

bagley about to delete the one pistons post on his IG and his dad going to start tweeting crazy the first game that marvin gets a DNP coach’s decision

  6. Oh if Monty hated Ayton hes absolutely despise this two

So tough for them when the next pick after each of them was Luka and Lamelo

I thought the Pistons ~~owner~~ GM was really high on Wiseman..and now he’s competing to be the backup? Yikes.

Just cut MB3 so the Celtics can grab him please

  10. That’s the way it should be. Having watched every single minute that Wiseman played in the nba and even some gleague games, I thought it was questionable that Detroit even traded for him. Then when he actually started some games for them, I thought it was the dumbest thing they could do with someone like Duren on the team who actually has potential and is already a nba level player. From what I’ve seen most Pistons fans have realized by now but it is an absolute waste of time trying to develop this guy especially if it takes any minutes away from Duren.

But but but, all the people on The Devils Den, and the nba and CBK subreddit told me Bagley was the next “transcendent” player.

2 Univ of Memphis dudes in the mix. Go Tigers Go.

  13. So is Isaiah Stewart out of the rotation or the starting PF?

Absolutely no way that Wiseman wins the backup job imo. He is fast, but not quick. He thinks he can shoot, but he can’t efficiently against NBA defenders. He is not strong, and he’s also not tough. He sulks, he over-helps to chase blocks, he ball watches on rebounds. Never have I seen him fight for position. If he is fighting for his career he will lose, as he’s always lost.

The Bust Brothers.. If someone could just accept the Bertans role and just get their 3pt to 39 percent. they can have significant playing time going forward.

Grant Williams accepted that role for the Celts
