Help me out here…

I feel like I’m losing my mind…There’s something off about this article right? It’s not just me? Sentences with strange structures, awkward preposition choices, and who the hell calls DL “Dame Lillard”? Repeatedly? Across multiple quotes and statements? Also – and this part may just be me being dumb but – since when do we have “board members” (they apparently quote one in the article)?

I swear to God this article feels like a slightly confused AI wrote it, and yet, there’s a human journalist’s name attached to it and it’s on a reasonably well-known website. Please tell me you guys notice the strangeness too. 😣

Side note, super pumped for the season to start!

I’m a redditor, so I’m not gonna read the article, but I’ve heard him referred to as Dame Lillard before, so that’s not too odd to me.

  2. “’We will work hard to have the best chemistry, and we are ready to put the work on to have Dame Lillard become one of the best players for us, that is for sure.’

The Bucks have rung the changes since that disappointing post-season defeat to Miami earlier this year.

‘The goal is to bring back the Bucks in the top of the NBA, and to bring another title in Milwaukee,’ said a Bucks board member who admitted the decision to let Holiday leave was ‘tough.’

‘The feeling felt when we won the title was unique, amazing, and the board is obsessed with winning more titles too, and the players are working hard in order to bring the trophy back in Wisconsin too.’”

    ?!?!?!?!?!

It’s The S*n, a shitty gossip rag no one reads or believes. Ignore, delete, move on.

Pretty confident they’re using AI to aggregate and then summarize/re-state other articles to create their “own” material.

  5. I wish I could edit my OP to note: no I do *not* read The Sun nor have any respect for it, it just came up as part of a google search and I didn’t realize just how shitty they must be for their awfulness to extend to a basic sports piece. I have learned my lesson. 🤢
