Celtics are small. Love jrue but that team is tiny lol they have huge frontcourt problems. Celtics fans acting like kristaps is a force down low, it's just not true. If al or kristaps gets hurt this team is in dire need if they want to go for a title.
I wish these owners would take ownership of the Red Sox. It is so damn expensive to go to a Fenway game. We don’t even know what the postseason looks like anymore at Fenway Park. It’s like the owners don’t even care. I am going to be so upset if they don’t spend big to bring in some good talent for next season. I give the Celtics owners credit. They are spending a crap load of money to win a championship.

It makes sense that you need to give up a player of Jrue's Holiday caliber to trade for someone as elite as Damian Lillard. However, with how much of a complete game and the absolute mastery of defense that Jrue brings, I'm not so sure the Bucks are much better off. They might still have great interior defense, but they lack that great anchor that they had at the perimeter. Offensively, I'm sure they will be great, but they took a big hit to get to where they are now.
And to get to the important point: I think the Boston Celtics got the best of this whole situation. They basically added 2 all star caliber players to their team. They are losing a bit of rim defense with Rob Williams III but got a much more complete package with KP, similary they lost Marcus Smart, but got a better player for it back in Jrue Holiday. In terms of playmaker / defender combination of players, I think Jrue is probably the best in the league. If the team can add some depth near the trade deadline, which really shouldn't be hard considering guys will be ringchasing and want to join the team, they will be in the best shape to make an ECF run or even win it all.

When all is said and done, the big winner here is Jrue. He went from signing a potential decent extension with the Bucks in February 2024 to now getting big money when he extends with the Celtics. Hey Jrue whatever happened to you retiring when your current contract expires? I guess that quickly went out the door..🫰🏼💰

This is the best player introduction press conference in any Boston sports ive seen to date! Very impressed with Jrue the person. He's definitely likable! Great poise, well-spoken, and very sincere. I believe Milwaukee just gifted us the championship!

Very happy to get Jrue he is a great person on and off the court. he can play defense like marcus smart but a far better offensive player. If everyone stays healthy and we have a rim protector we are gonna be hard to beat!!!
