This article has some really good quotes from Thibs and other players on Randle so far in camp.

Some key quotes for those who don’t have a Daily News subscription:

Donte Divincenzo: “It kinda honestly shocked me a little bit…you don’t know people before you get to their team…once I got to the team, he really wowed me w/ the type of person he is…grateful to be able to share the court w/ him”

Grimes: “He’s coming in just trying to be better than he was last year. He’s one of the best players in the league and still wants to get better. Definitely kind of inspiring for me to go out there no matter what, always try to get better.”

Brunson: “It’s a different type of intensity. He’s concentrating. He’s focused on giving off the right energy to everybody. It’s still intense. It’s just different…it’s channeled.”

Definitely good things to hear for sure! 💯

Will he still have his mantra guy coach him through his pregame meditation?

Wow pretty sad that everyone here is lying about Randle being a “positive impact”. Sorry but they don’t know shit, I’ve watched more Knicks than them and it’s absolutely 100% fact Randle is a CANCER to the team. Everyone hates him.

Glad to hear this. We need the best version of himself to succeed.

I love this angle of the Knicks – intensity all the time. It was in Patrick/Oakley’s day too.

I know this is a Hart story in a Randle post, but when Hart came over to us, there were rumors that Chauncy Billups had to sit Hart down in practice because he was pissing everyone else off with his intensity.

Even if this team isn’t ready to contend for a championship yet, I would so much rather have this than the Durant/Kyrie/Harden mess that the Nets finally broke up.
