He’s happy that Hamas killed a bunch of civilians? Wtf.
Mourning the death of hundreds of innocent people massacred in cold blood “sucks”. This is what happens when you wander out of your internet echo chamber and stumble into reality for a second
Good. Get him the fuck out of here.
The post-Arab Spring trendy woke movement to support Palestine while completely ignoring Democratic peace theory is one of the worst outcomes of post modernism.
And I say that as a progressive. Not as some Jordan Peterson nut.
In the words of Bill Maher, there’s only one religion that blows you up for drawing a cartoon.
Any support for these terrorists deserves immediate termination and permanent clown status.
His post was effectively a pro-Hamas, pro-terrorism statement. Completely idiotic and has no one to blame but himself.
Position aside, it more seems like Jackson didn’t read the Voice’s social media policy.
The whole thing is tragic and only proves how little people know about the actual situation and how it’s impossible for almost anyone to approach it with nuance. Are Hamas piece of shit terrorists? Yes. Has the Israeli government created a far right apartheid state and similarly terrorized Palestinians while the world writ large has denied them statehood? Also yes. It’s not black and white. Getting fired for this is absolute bullshit.
