Mike brown took some time to figure out the line ups even last year, so I think Sasha will eventually be part of the second team.
Mike Brown knows he did not fly all the way out there just to sit him on the bench. He's holding his cards close to his chest.
Seems a bit strange to put in all this effort to then bench him lol.
Not a great sign.

The team is set up to make a huge trade in the summer or next year. I’m thinking Sasha’s minutes will be short until then and he’s acclimated

Vezenkov might be liability on Defense you say? Ok, can someone name one Kings player that is a truly good defender? It's modern day NBA… most of the players can't shoot but think they can, awful percentages ,masive liability on D….it's funny to me that the Kings are aiming big but continue to start players like Barns at the 4..starter.., also T.Lyles..I mean..you're going nowhere fast with those guys. Just my 2 cents.
Who cares what Mike Brown and Sacs think about Vezenkov. The league is watching. 3rd unit for Euro MVP is a joke. His contract is a joke. I hope he finds a better team.
I understand Coach brown's cagey answers to the media, send a message not just to Sasha but everyone else, play D or sit out. But behind the scenes I fear there may be some grumbling from Sasha's people vs Monte vs Brown.
This is pure imagination but we know what agents can be like. Their entire job is about boosting their guy to get more than they deserve. Brown's cageyness is not gonna sit well, and the agent will have a phone call with Monte, just wanting reassurances. Monte will give some smooth talking but may also wanna find out with Brown how far Sasha is from cracking the rotation. Because the last thing you want is to have an asset that rots on the vine.
Truth is, there's no drama between player and coach. But I think that some people around player and around coach will need reassurances.

No problem, if he's not used in Sacs he'll be traded to an nba team that really wants him, or go back to Europe where teams will be more than happy to sign him. He's proven he's an elite player, there are countless videos that show what he can do in scoring and that he can survive in a more physical and defensive league. Why sign him since you know all about him and then bench him? Is Sacramento in the habit of delaying the cariers of great players for no reason? It will be King's loss at the end of the day, one way or another
