In yesterday’s post-practice interview, Kerr weighed in at the start and end of the comments with high praise for Podz. I was shocked at the last bit, responding to the need to replace what Donte gave us, impacting the game in all ways. When Kerr said, ‘Maybe it is Brandin, maybe it is Moses.” I really felt the power of us drafting Podz. That is a serious statement. And of course, we love our MM.

Kerr mentioning a rookie in such a fashion is NOT his modus operandi… Kerr and Bob collective ran a “rookies don’t help you win” campaign annually (which is true). Very interesting on the record comment.
That being said, they got back the player donte had been recruited to replace. GPII does almost all donte did, except ball handling (though he used to play PG).
Friday can’t come soon enough 😣
Doesn’t having a real PG running the bench unit replace a lot of what Donte did, when he was next to Poole?
