Simmons hitting a jumper is rare like finding a shiny Pokémon. Appreciate it whenever you see one.

Would be cool if he was solid this year. Not even like all-star level but a solid 14/6/8 with good defense would be cool to see.

His movement looks MUCH better. Glad to see it

  4. Imagine Ben has his best season ever, then plays for Australia at the Olympics. Cool comeback story

I hope he does well this season. It’s sad to see talented players not reach their potential

Dude need to get right mentality and just play his game. He know he can’t shoot, fk it bro. Play good defense, be a good facilitator and ball out.

Man it would be nice to see him make a comeback, I’m not a fan of him at all but from everything I’ve seen he seemed to be really struggling mentally, not just physically, always good to see people win those battles.

I hate the Nets court. It always makes me think there’s something wrong with my TV.

Ben still things it’s summer workout, seen enough summer workout video with him doing this shot

But for real, wish him all the best and balls out

Impressive, very nice. Let’s see Paul Allen’s jumper.

  11. I know this is beating a dead horse at this point, but… it’s sooo painfully obvious he’s shooting with the wrong hand in this clip. It’s crazy!

Lol you know Simmons is back when he starts shooting fadeaway jumpers in the preseason that he’ll never take in the regular season

i feel like that brotha really standin on bihhness this season

Iirc he used to shoot this post fade pretty regularly in his first couple years, he didnt stop shooting completely until maybe year 3. I dont think this is anything new

I wouldn’t be surprised if he did make big steps. He did seem to have some crazy stuff going on that could definitely of affected his mental. Well, now he’s in a place on a team with way less pressure. The people who probably caused him stress and annoyance in Embiid and Rivers have had egg on their face and now Rivers is just out of a job currently.

If he’s healthy and he’s in a good head space, he’s in a great position. And he’s got a lot of ammo and stuff to feel good about if he held any grudges. I mean he’s also only 27. He’s got like 3 years of prime left in a general sense for most players. Not like it wasn’t always the case, but if he’s healthy and can put up more points now and still has the defense he did? He’s still going to be valuable to whatever team he’s on. Not like he was an illegitimate all-star.
