I really like both of these guys, think they are both underrated around the league. On paper I think the value is fine, but Miami has shown no interest in including FRPs for non stars.
The fit could get a little weird if Jones and Herro can’t hold up defensively and Delon Wright can’t hit enough 3’s next to Jim and Bam. That would be my only worry.

I dont see why the Heat would want to give up a frp for Jones and Wright. Having extra depth would be nice but not worth a FRP when both are expiring deals.

This might make more sense if we traded Duncan instead, that way we have him and Kyle off the books after this year, plus we have swider who can approximate Duncan’s role somewhat, cause getting an extra 20 mil of the books for 3 years is more worth losing an frp

Tyus might be part of their plans moving forward, if not they’ll probably get more for him. Indiana or Orlando is where I’m looking where they have extra point guards that should be getting more minutes but aren’t because of the guys in front of them in McConnell and Anthony where the Heat may be able to bid.
