mo gueye is very promising
Jalen Johnson looks like he should be starting for the Hawks. Another really solid outing from the starters and bench. I cant help but get excited
Trae had faked me twice in one game with his passes. I’m loving how Quin got our guys so far.
Whole squad feels different bro I know yall feel it too! It’s finally, after so long, fun and exciting to watch the Hawks hoop
Yeahhhhhh I’m thinking #1 in the East. What do we say?
Seth Lundy
I love how consistent the per quarter scoring is on these stats. I feel like last year the problem was they only played well 3/4 quarters every game. This is what we need
Jalen Johnson should start at the 4, with Bey and Capela. Hunter isn’t that good on defense so we can chill with the “best defensive wing on the team” talk. But we’ll see what Snyder comes up with
So this team is definitely playing more cohesive basketball than they were last season. The ball actually moves. They’re making the extra passes. Players are moving off-ball. There’s a lot to love about the way they’re playing.
Gueye isn’t ready for the NBA yet, but I’m really hoping he goes to the Skyhawks and spends a year or two working hard. This dude has a ton of potential, and you can already see it paying off.
Jalen Johnson is him. He should be a 30+ mpg starter next season. I don’t care if he’s starting over Hunter or Bey, but he needs to be starting and getting minutes. Aside from how he’s a gifted athlete, you can tell his awareness of the game has taken a huge leap. His court vision is phenomenal. AND! I’m hoping that 3 ball just gets more and more consistent as the season progresses. It already looks better than last year.
Lundy is the rookie that could really crack the rotation this year. He can shoot and he had another good defensive outing. I do think he gets a little tunnel visioned with his shot. So I’m hoping the ball isn’t a black hole when it reaches his hands. But regardless he’s very skilled, especially for a second rounder.
It looks like Quin is slowly moving Trae into that Donovan Mitchell role with JJ on the floor. JJ has passing vision almost as good as Trae makes off-ball options for him even deadlier. That no-fly zone in the paint defense with OO and JJ is game-breaking.
JJ got the starting 4 locked up
Starting 5 should be
Trae
DJM
Bey
JJ
Clint
i am very interested to see where Dre is going to fit into all of this
Someone please help AJ
