[Dieter Ruehle] No live organist at Lakers this year or last. They seem content with organ recordings.

  1. I hadn’t even noticed. The organ hasn’t sounded the same since Dieter left. Nothing like the Kobe-Pau days.

Come on, can’t you afford an organist?

Damn. Dieter is a gem for Dodger and Kings games

I’m still waiting for them to bring back the bells they would play after someone would hit a 3

Going to miss the live organ to go along with the live band that would play when the Lakers were on defense. In my experience, I don’t think I’ve ever seen other professional teams do that.

I miss the sounds of lakers games pre 2012

Last game I went to they tried to implement a weird techno version of the organ for a play or 2… a piece of me died that day

No more organ, no more Larry Tanter, no more smoking patio, no more cash, no more Staples. Just a soulless husk of building. I’ll be watching more games than ever at home this year.

I might get hate for this. But once LT retires. I prefer his AI over anyone coming in lmao.

  12. One more reason why the Lakers are lackluster every year. An abandonment of the details that made the Lakers a showtime team.

Dieter is awesome for the Dodgers where he has more room do his thing. I think with the pace of basketball it isn’t as good since the pace is so different. Someone pointed out that he left the Lakers in 2016, not sure why.
