They are milking this city of brotherly love slogan too much
Hated the initial look, but I like aspects of these. I love the arrow detail from the sign, and the neon reference on the BROTHERLY is fine, but I’m not sold on the secondary font, the asymmetry, and the color palette.
Think these would look way better if BROTHERLY LOVE was stacked in that neon block style, with City Of as some quieter, smaller font above it, all centered with the number below. And maybe black instead of navy? The navy’s fine but I’m just never a fan.
Spectrum jerseys were a huge step above these, but we’ve also had worse. I at least like the concept here compared to the old Boathouse Row ones, but these always try to skew too modern/simple when they need to be dialing up the details more.

I know the existence of City Editions is, at the base, an excuse to sell more jerseys. And some of them have been legitimately cool designs. But this honestly feels so much more like an advertisement than ever before. It feels completely hollow, from the PR campaign angle for the new stadium, to the actual uninspired design, to that fucking Crypto.com ad.
Absolute no, toss this in the garbage.
