Buck’s lead assistant coach Terry Stotts resigns after incident with Head Coach Adrian Griffin at shootaround.

Curious to see if there has ever been an incident where a lead assistant coach resigned? I don’t think I’ve seen this before.

Was Adrian Nate all along? 😅

This makes it seem like too many of our coaches were not “people persons.”

Having a first year coach yell at you while you used to be a HC for multiple seasons, I could see how that would piss stotts off. Kinda like the new hire at your job bossing you around when you’ve already been there for years, just don’t think it’s ever a good idea to have past head coaches be assistants to a first year that used to be an assistant. There’s a different dynamic there and stotts wasn’t having it.

I don’t blame Griffin for popping like that, though it isn’t the best thing to do at any point.

When the head coach asks you to do something, as an assistant it is better for everybody if you just do what the man says and don’t fuss. Griffin told the team he wanted a meeting with the coaches, Stotts knew that, and fought against it.

Griffin didn’t ask for Stotts either, that was the Bucks FO who put him on the staff. Their styles are so wildly different, it’s hardly surprising they didn’t get along.

Yeah with Nate Bjorkgren and now Adrian Griffin, outside of Chris Finch I find it interesting that the other had very public blowups and an apparent attitude problem right from the get go.

Then add on the Raptors seemingly being far from that type of drama from the preseason even compared to last, I’m thinking Nurse and company were the culture problems and we didn’t know to what degree.

  9. The way Griffen and Bjorkgren have conducted themselves as head coaches really makes it seem like Nick was an asshole.

Seems like a dick me to me. No not Gradey Dick lol.

But seriously, he either was just short-tempered or stupidly wanted to show his authority over someone with better credentials than him.

Why is this sub always wishing for downfalls of everyone who moves on from the team
