Boasting a 7-foot, 3-inch wingspan, Coulibaly showed off his length and athleticism. He displayed great instincts and awareness that enabled him to anticipate plays and force turnovers. “I think he can be impactful defensively,” Wizards coach Wes Unseld Jr. said. “He showed it at times (with) just his length and anticipation. He’ll get a better feel once we dial deeper into personnel and get deeper into the season. I think that is where he is going to hang his hat.”

Gafford and coulibaly to compensate POOLE and KUZMA defense..this boy IS good and Will be really really very good…he has all the modern physical tools and IS not so bad technically….very promising to me

You guys ain't ready for Bilal! 😉 he's a good disciplined kid who learns very fast
We love Bilal but he was not even the 2nd best player on the Mets. He barely10started 8 games. But the potential and his improvement curve is stellar that's why he went from a 2nd round pick to a top ten pick. So I fully agree with your initial statement, it is needed to temper expectations on the first seasons. But I think the defense will be good from day 1 & the ceiling is crazy.
