Even KD in 2014 played more than half the season without Russ because Russ was injured. That's when KD started dropping 30-40 every night.
So I wouldn't count that.
You're pretty spot on when it comes to who has a chance of winning MVP
I personally would go with Luka but I just don't think his team is good enough. He probably needs to take them to the 6th seed but with the many great teams in the west I think he will find it difficult.
Many fans have been trying to give him the MVP for years so if he does accomplish to make them a 6 seed I wouldn't be surprised if he wins it .
So that really only leaves Jokic, curry, embid and I think giannis has a shot if teams choose to shut down dame.
KD has a small chance if booker goes down for a while and KD keeps them winning at a high percentage but probably not.
So my pick is Steph
