100%. I hate new jerseys every year. Don’t even see them long enough to grow a taste.

Thank you finally somebody says it.

Hot take, but what nostalgia are they ruining? We can talk about how the coloring can be off or what not, but they’ve never gone away from the purple and gold/yellow jerseys. These City edition jerseys are clearly just individual designs, whether they’re historically inspired and only last for a year, but not meant to be some team/franchise defining jersey. We wore the City jerseys 5 times in 82 games last year.

I wouldn’t mind doing it how the MLS does their jerseys, alternate between new home and away every year. Each jersey has a 2 year lifespan instead of 1 year.
Home and away doesn’t even exist anymore though.
You could do the same with the extra alternatives since teams typically have 4-5 jerseys in the rotation every year.
Keep 2 every season , and 2 new ones. Just alternate

The entire concept is like fast fashion. The more different designs they pump out every year the more different kinds they can sell. Money is the motive for Nike, not building a brand for the teams.
