It's Ben Simmons' team BUT clearly Coach's favorite player (and mines) is Dennis. If Ben starts slipping this year, he will be toast. The plan B is there already. Ben dominates, we win. Ben stumbles, then we go through a transition.
I also believe that Cam Thomas is the key answer to the Nets offense preoccupations. However, he MUST play his game style to be highly effective; which means NOT passing the ball as much as JV wants; particularly, when he's wide open and when he has the opportunity to create his own shots. Lonny Walker plays his style of game and so do the others in this team. Cam Thomas style DIRECTLY CLASHES with JV's game philosophy big time- even when he's highly successful. Turning CT to Ben Simmons is problematic to say the least. It's like turning a Predator to a Prey. It just doesn't work.
Also, Watford has good offensive potential and we haven't yet seen what Whitehead can do.
