Raptors will regret not extending Precious, Gary & Pascal, Preseason data, & Pat Bev pokes the bear

The Raptors have several players who are extension-eligible, but to date have stood pat on all of them, opting to take a wait-and-see approach to maximize flexibility. While this has generally been this management team’s philosophy, it has bitten them in the butt more than a few times, and when it comes to Pascal Siakam, Precious Achiuwa and Gary Trent Jr, this could be a very costly mistake.

Also, we talk about the extremely promising preseason data, what I’d have as my 9 man rotation, the advantages of greatness, and Patrick Beverley starting some beef by saying the Raptors don’t have any dogs.

  1. Idk man, Orlando seems pretty damn high on Suggs and see him as a perennial all-defense guy, aren't they going to start him next to Fultz?

I'm expecting a little jump this year from Scottie maybe 18/7/5 on 50/33/78 splits then a mega jump in his 4th year

  2. Imagine playing with two world class bottlers like Harden & embid who constantly choke under pressure of playoffs and saying Raptors have no dawgs.
That's like Ben Simmond calling someone mentally weak. PatBev should look up "projecting".

  3. Raps weren't good last season. Fred got paid the bag. All our free agents are ready to follow in Fred's footsteps

  4. I think this lineup data is crazy no way Dennis will be happy playing those mins maybe Jakob well maybeee.

  5. shit I feel like your getting negative on us again! let the good times roll you are nit picking about too much saying Scottie and Siakam cant be the greatest duo! making a big deal about finishing 5th or 6th are you a raps fan or Scottie fan 😉 lets go RAPSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  6. Suggs is a lonzo like player. Connector who works well with higher IQ players. He fits in by being a connector, hitting 3s and being a play finisher. He fits out with his defense and motor. I can't imagine Orlando giving up on him. They're letting him start this season and I think they're all in on him this season.

  7. I love SB and I think you’re being objective so I don’t see an issue here.
I think it’s funny tho that last year people hated you for being a SB fanboy and now they’re upset you’re being objective.
    Huh? Lol

  8. My theory is, Masai needs to see what this team looks like. I’m not so worried about the free agents . If they raptors significantly out perform last season, chances are you won’t have Fred situations and you’ll have players who see hope in the future and want to be here to continue to grow. If the raptors end up as bad as last year, you now have roster spots and cap flexibility to start building a team around Scottie and gradey etc. sure, there’s potential a bunch of them have great seasons and their dollar value goes up, but If they have great seasons, that means we had a good year and the desire to resign for a tad bit less to keep the group together might arise. Guess we’ll see.
