Crazy thing is I’ve been saying this forever that what made last year so impressive to me bc he shoots all contested jump shots and was shooting 56% but when those contested shots aren’t falling it becomes noticeable how poor his shot selection actually is 😅
They were double teaming booker bc you have to ice the screen bc if not booker has a wide open midrange shot in rhythm same thing they would do with steph
KD's always been a tremendous scorer because of his efficiency (despite his difficult shot selection). He's been in the 50/40/90 club a few times and his true shooting % is always exceptional. For his career, he's averaged 27 points on fewer than 19 shots a game.

I do not understand him shooting that bad when he does. this man is 7ft WITH a 7 ft wingspan. and warriors have no one with size and quickness and defensive acumen to guard him. yet ppl think booker > kd is crazy
If we're being fair KD doesn't exactly help himself he either stands on the 3 point line or 15-18 range and waits for the ball, I get he's a big so he can't run around like a Curry/Allen/Korever type guy but he can make some cuts to basket or something the guy is a basketball genius he could get himself open if he wanted to.
