Those shots of screens and one dribble shots were something he really used in OKC with Westbrook and with the warriors.
He was a bit quicker then so it probably won't be as easy to do it now.
That part of the game should open up for Kd once the team gets chemistry with him and if the other guys make their shots.
That said KD wasn't doing much of that in Brooklyn either.
I don't think KD feels comfortable yet with the suns.
He's definitely aging and that's evident in his transition game, dribbles, and drive to the basket.
He can't separate and rise up the way he used to. His handles are slower and loser.
For some reason he seems reluctant to drive since his Achilles injury which is probably the biggest reason why he has struggled so much in the playoffs recently.
I know he's slower but sometimes he seems like he's not even thinking about driving and drawing a foul .
That said the only perimeter player in the league that demands more gravity than KD is Steph.
Probably in NBA history. Against top defensive teams with great perimeter defenders he probably will struggle since he can't beat them of the dribble anymore. He's still good for 25-30 points a game and 45-50% against those top defensive teams.
I just don’t get why KD keeps attempting forced shot, often ending spinning and hustling, just take easy shots or open shots!
Thing is I noticed is draymond makes curry better. I think Curry averages 5 points less a game when green is out
I feel like I’m gonan trust beal to be that 2nd option more than KD…unless KD can show us that he still has the capability of playing like his prime golden state version or 2021 nets which he has yet to do since he came to Phoenix…it sucks how as soon as he goes to the Suns he immediately starts to look like a lesser version of himself. Still praying he has it in him to look like old KD but so far it hasn't been promising. If we had prime 30 year old KD this would be the greatest big 3 of all time.

people are so delusional these days lol. KD had a bad shooting night, it has happened every year for the last 15 years, apparently no one watched him on the Nets literally last season. The man will average 27 ppg 50/40/90 this season once again.
Kd gotta shoot more threes like wtf, 2 threes is inexcusable for a shooter like that. Defenders know when he wants to shoot because his shot profile is 85% middies.
