Is it just me or does he look faster and more spry? I can’t recall seeing him jump above the rim like this for a block last year. Seemed faster running back too and did more rim running. He looks like he’s in better shape?

I was really surprised by his impact last night.
The defense was good, which was expected (although not bulletproof).
But the offense involved way more attempts to get him involved than I was expecting. He did a lot despite Toronto’s size/length, and the team in general was really looking for him (god they must have had 4 or 5 turnovers trying to force it to him).

He was so good defensively. The team in general is still forcing it to him too much on offense imo, and they aren’t good at getting him the ball

It was probably a good thing his fiba team got eliminated right away, so he could be well rested for the season.

That was such a chaotic sequence
Edit: didn’t think of this before, but if Schroder’s save did bank in, would it count as three points or two for the wolves (assuming he was behind the 3 point line)? I never really considered whether own basket can be a 3 or a 2.

In real time, I thought that was going to be a huuuuge play. Really sucked to get the block and turnover on the other end.
