Led by Jalen Brunson’s 31 points, 5 assists and 8 3pt. FG, the New York Knicks defeated the Atlanta Hawks, 126-120. RJ Barrett added 26 points and 6 assists in the victory, while Trae Young tallied 18 points and 12 assists for the Hawks. The Knicks improve to 1-1 on the season, while the Hawks fall to 0-2.

    Capella sucks so bad. He cant even hit a layup. He has to have the ball put in the rim for him with a perfect alley oop.

    I love how Atlanta is trying to make Trae play a bit more off-ball. Obviously it's gonna look ugly the first couple of starts but these things take time getting used to, I definitely see improvement from everyone else being involved a bit more in the offensive end and while Trae is currently playing like shit I think he'll get used to it and be able to create somewhat of a mimic of Curry's play on the Warriors. Anyway just wanted to say I like the direction that Quinn Snyder is taking Atlanta and I think it's the right steps to a successful season.

    Knicks needs to work on that paint D. Free throw was a bit better this game, but they are soft in the paint. Giving up 54 points in the paint and missing bunnies is a concern.

    Its a win on the road, so always good. But i see a lot of problems. Our defense wasn't good. We let a ton of open shots and easy dunks. We missed defensive rotations – especially Randle and RJ. On offense, we looked good – some guys were hot, some cold but our depth is such, we always will have a few good shooters and Donte helping there. I want mostly better defense. And Randle, especially needs to tighten his defense, especially since he isn't the focal point of offense – he should have energy to be at least a neutral on D.

    Full team effort from the Knicks tonight. Jalen and RJ scored and scored it damn well, Julius made up for poor 2 pt shooting with clutch 3s and FTs down the stretch, and the depth, esp Donte, sealed the W. Still things to improve upon, but great team effort and LGK!

    How many turnovers, missed shots, and zero defense from Trae before Atlanta realizes he is a franchise killer? Go watch the last play of the half and wonder why the hawks suck. Shoot a 35 point 3 pointer, brick it, then stand there as your man runs down and gets an easy 2. The announcers say someone leaked out…………..no mfer we just have a guy who plays no defense and does not care.
