Ayton was a monster tonight. And he only got nine shot attempts. Defense and rebounding was massive. Scoot looked like he’s figuring it out as well.

Scoot looking a little better every game, if he keeps it up by the end of the year he should pretty much be prime MJ.

So much to love about this game. Jabari and Toumani are straight up dawgs, Brogdon so steady and reliable, DeAndre getting involved on offense and Dominayton the glass, Shae’s handle looking so much better and getting to the foul line.

Hell you even gotta give Chauncey credit. He ran some nice actions tonight and the way he’s got these dudes crashing the offensive glass is fun as fuck.

I’m okay with losing, but man does a win feel good. Let’s go!

I almost forgot what it felt like to win 🥲

  4. SUPER-NIINTENDO

Blazer’s defense won this game. Never thought I’d say that 😂

Yall can thank me for that reverse curse thread

“And once again we can say: It’s a great day to be a Blazer!”

  7. NevermoreSEA

I’m starting to think that Ayton isn’t the worst center in league history like some people seemingly want us to believe.

    IM HERE TO OVERREACT POSITIVELY

    WE MAY NEVER LOSE AGAIN

    Ayton should get the interview.

  10. Did Shaedon’s voice get deeper or am I tripping

Encouraging stuff from scoot. Definitely enough glimpses to see lots of potential. It all lies with the shot at this point.

  12. Hedo_Nurkoglu

Ayton with some major defensive plays and rebounds down the stretch, you LOVE to see it

Ayton waiting the extra beat or two on his screens made a huge difference in the way our offense operated. A lot of missed shots, but the team way more cohesive and together. LOVED OUR DEFENSE. The most hustle and defensive intensity I’ve seen from the team in years. These are the exciting games of rebuilds and the ones to remember when we go through the really rough stretches we’re gonna have

  14. who knew that an extremely young team needed to play more basketball games together to form chemistry and play good basketball? haters in shambles

  15. LazyHater

    Ayton 23 boards

    Bari 2 massive blocks

    Mani +12

    Scoot 7 assists

Shae carry job in the 2nd changed the whole fuckin vibe

    LFG

Less talked about area of Shaedon’s development is his ability to bang out those canned answers in the post match interview. My man was *elite* today

Scoot had a good game, his passing is finally starting to catch up to NBA speed and he had a few really good moments.

Ayton was a beast tonight on both sides of the ball. The crazy thing is that he can be even better. There were multiple plays where he was in good position and calling for the ball in the paint but nobody got it to him. Another play I can remember where he sat a perfect screen for Shae and was rolling to the basket, but Shae went for a middy that rimmed out instead.

I don’t expect many wins, but even if we lose playing like this is what I like to see.

You guys are already saying everything I want to say about the Blazers so I’ll just mention that the Raptors looked bad bad. Not enough shooters on the floor ever, made playing defense on them much too easy. Barnes is great but I think they’re in for an overhaul pretty soon.

The boys needed this W and this sub needed this W

  20. BoneApple_T

Ayton and Bari had monster games.

I think the takeaway is that we definitely need to look at getting Ayton more looks. When he started rolling is when we really caught momentum in the 3rd and brought it home in the 4th

Scoot will learn from his mistakes.

    – Shaedon and Toumani were great as usually. Really excited about them both. Shaedon’s numbers actually don’t even look that great, but I though he was solid on both ends today, especially in the first half
    – Ayton finally had a good game. Really impressed me with his passing, only had 2 assists but I felt like he found the open guy or the cutter consistently
    – Scoot also had a better game but still struggled with turnovers and fouling, and honestly we as a team looked better when he was on the bench. He needs to shoot less threes, maybe like 1-2 a game. He was 4/6 inside the arc. Hopefully this game helps build his confidence.
    – A lot of ppl were complaining about Brogdon but even though he wasn’t the most efficient, I think he was still good and plays smart usually. I think either him or Sharpe are our best players while Ant is out
    – we had a couple *extremely* cold stretches that would’ve killed us against a better team but this is just part of a rebuilding team, so its not a big deal right now
    – also I’m from Toronto but I didn’t go to the game this year and I’m really sad about it 🙁
    – Good to finally get that first W!!
