[Bodner] This 2026 pick that the Thunder are sending the Sixers will be the least favorable pick out of a few of the picks that the Thunder possess that year, I’m told.

We are sending Philly the worst of our own 2026 pick, the Rockets top-4 protected pick and the Clippers pick.
In exchange we get a pick swap with the Clippers in 2027.
This is a great deal. A likely scenario is we send a pick in the twenties to Philly for a potential high lottery pick in 2027

presti fucking cooked as per usual
COYRnB
basically we got another year of owning the clippers

2026 Thunder pick is currently projected 30th… this is a steal.

Feels like this is a really nice win for us. We still get the benefits of the 2026 pick while giving up the lowest pick, however we also get an additional pick swap.
Good article breaking down the Thunder involvement.

Is the 2027 swap only for our own pick or could we swap the nuggets if it were worse?

Yeah looks like a good deal on paper initially but will have to wait for all the info. It’s basically gambling on one of those 3 teams being pretty good in 2026 which given our current trajectory, you’d think the Thunder should be pretty good at that point which would also carry over to 2027 where they would be hoping the Clippers are at best mediocre which given the health and age of their main players isn’t a bad gamble to make at all

So basically get the Clippers unprotected pick swap for free. Lol Presti is insane

Y’all gotta stop doubting Presti. Man does nothing, but cook

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but based on what has been reported, this seems like a risky deal that could net the Thunder nothing in return for a first round pick. Maybe it turns out be a good deal for the Thunder, but “as stated” it looks like a loss for the Thunder on this trade.

Thunder still getting something out of Harden all these years later haha
