  1. Embiid’s size and gravity in the high post makes this simple play such a tough one to defend, especially when you swap out Morris with someone like Tobias. Kind of sad that Doc’s idea of using Embiid as a playmaker is to pass to him on the perimeter and watch him dribble the ball, while every other successful modern offense is using their center exactly like this (Jokic, Sabonis, Draymond, Bam). Especially when Embiid’s got the best midrange game of any of them.

    If his wife doesn’t want to move, could Batum be angling for a trade back to L.A.? The Lakers could use him, considering they just started Cam Reddish.

    Not an easy salary match. I think Sixers could be game if we can sell whatever we get to a 3rd team for a 2nd pick (Taurean Prince? Cam Reddish?). Wouldn’t mind taking a look at Christie (RFA).

    How about Batum (12m) & Korkmaz (5m) <=> Rui Hachimura (16m) <=> Buddy Hield (19m)?
