Philly is supposed to beat us, especially since they have our former coach and it’s the second night of a tough back to back but I’ve been echoing the same sentiment since the Bulls game. Consider this a new team, there will be extreme highs and extreme lows, temper your expectations and overreactions. Consistency will be our biggest issue this season.

  2. asarikahs

We really do have to trade GTJ and Siakam at the trade deadline. If this is how these guys are gonna play in a contract year then they ain’t worth extending.

Extremely disappointing from two guys you would think would come in motivated to play well.

  3. Diligent-Use-7268

idk how anyone can watch the way our team looks and say lets double down with a 250m contract for pascal and a 200m contract for OG.

    that’s absolutely nuts.

the last thing we need to be doing is handing out massive contracts to anyone not named Scottie.

  4. Raptorsthrowaway1

Scottie continues to look like he is breaking out to an All Star level player, 24 / 8 / 8. It’s his team, he has taken it from Siakam

Gary could really do with a couple of DNP-CD, but in reality we dont have the players to afford to do that. Same with Boucher, for a guy that is our 6th highest paid player (makes $1m less than Dennis) he makes bonehead plays night in and night out

  5. I know they’re just a better team than us right now, and we will always have 2019 but….

Fuck I hate losing to these guys

  6. Cheechers23

That was a combination of Pascal playing like trash and the Nick Nurse treatment. Pascal was actually making good reads in the first half against Philly loading up on him but in the second half he was awful.

Gary has been so incredibly ass, holy cow. Did NOT expect him to be this bad in a contract year.

  7. mMounirM

someone tell Gary it’s a contract year. he’s worse than last year and last year wasn’t really good either lol

  8. nrgturtle

We have such a good defense but our offense is going to play us out of winnable games.

  9. Siakam and Jak need to be better. This loss wasn’t only their faults but they’re *supposed* to be anchoring our offence and defence and they’re just not pulling their weight rn.

In saying that they were dealing with Joel Embiid all game long which is a tough task itself

  10. Cannot have the combo of Siakam and GTJ not scoring. We just don’t have enough offence to survive those guys not contributing

  11. ShindouRomm

Playing Flynn and Gradey together is asking for trouble. If we are going to play both gotta stagger them better.

  12. sector16

Gary building Brick City, one shot at a time.

  13. OguguasVeryOwn

Schedule loss. Still lots of positives here but we need to execute vs Spurs/Mavs/Wiz and take at least a couple of those games.

  14. ogDarkShark

Scottie can’t be the only driver on the offense. Genuinely seems like he and Dennis are the only ones ready to plu

  15. XviiChong

Can’t be too upset, they battled on the second leg of a back to back to unfortunately, a better team. Scottie once again showing that he can lead this team, and Dennis with another DD.

But, especially on B2B’s, the bench has to be better. Simple as that. How can the starters get some rest if every time the bench comes in, the opponent lead grows?

  16. naveedhahmad

Frustrating loss, because we all despise the Sixers, but Oubre had 23 points and was 5/6 from three. He swung the game for them.

It will be nice for the Raptors to have a few days off, watch some film, and on to San Antonio.

  17. Itchy_Quit_8755

can’t be mad about this loss tonight

  18. notraptorfaniswear

The Flynn, Dick, Boucher lineups are always an instant yikes. I know we have to develop Dick, but I’d rather have Otto there. He’s just not NBA ready

  19. Kevita24

I don’t see a world in which we don’t overhaul this roster before the deadline…I know Masai will probably wait until the last possible moment to make trades but if this is what we are, there’s no way that Toronto is locking Siakam in for 5 years 200+ million, and GTJ to whatever he’s going to want…this is ugly ball, zero half court offense, not fun to watch at all

  20. december_karaoke

Scottie is def him. I can see us building around him and if Darko and Co. can actually develop the other guys while we trade some pieces, I can see us getting back into the winning team with Scottie as our guy.

  21. One thing that stood out was how fast the game was moving for Gradey. He’ll catch up with time.

  22. GeniusMouthBreather

Everyone was ass in the 2nd half. Couldn’t generate anything and sagging off their man

  23. zigmatters

Philly is our Kryptonite, Embiid’s size and Maxey’s speed beats us in both fronts
