Nick nurse has this team humming. How many minutes should we expect roco and batum to get?
Team is starting off really strong. Crazy the difference a top tier coach makes. Bench looks strong, offense is flowing, tobi looks confident, joel is averaging 7 assists and playing defense for 4 quarters, maxey looked a little passive tonight, but he’s clearly gonna fake another step this year
looking forward to seeing how batum kmj and cov slot in & im curious to see what trade we make with these picks and expirings
This team is so much fun. Happy for Tobi and the Great Furk. Embiid already MVPiid. Oubre what a steal.
Doc is a basketball terrorist. We had so much more movement and stopped running Joel ISOs every 5 seconds. The fact that we have 4 players at/near 20 points shows that this team can get it done when coached effectively.
Harris paying at the 4 instead of the 3 is a godsend. Looks so much more comfortable on both offense and defense. I can’t believe they let PJ Tucker push a guy they were paying 190 mil out of position and then wondered why he sucked.
As Larry Brown would say- Sixers are playing the right way. A little bit concerned with out shooting guard position, Melton has been cheeks, while Oubre has been holding it down on the wing. But regardless, everyone balled out today, just really fun, enjoyable basketball.
Starting to believe again. Why do I do this to myself?
The vibes feel like 2016-17 Sixers
You don’t have to be a superteam to win it all MAN if this team keeps playing like this and our chemistry keeps getting better and better the sky’s the limit the Nuggets just did it we can too
Oubre’s legit, Tobi doing things against bad teams, wassup with D Melt, Embiid continuing to put up assist numbers, Maxey a little off but making defenses adjust, Kork getting some, RoCo returns. Clap your hands.
TOBIAS HARRIS NICK NURSE V2.0
Oubre is here because his agent, Tobi’s dad, fumbled.
Tobi’s greatest contribution during Sixers tenure maybe getting Oubre for us
can’t believe we got all those assets from the clips without having to give up furk. 👀
I haven’t had this much fun watching this team in years, it’s been amazing so far. Vibes are immaculate
4 games in so far and the team looks much better than last year, the defense and movement is great
Maxeys defense is truly better, sucks he had a bit of a quiet night in scoring
Also anyone on the team playing 40 minutes a night in the regular season is unacceptable (Tobias and Maxey did), something has to change man that just can’t keep happening
I’ve seen enough. Start this Furkan guy over Melton
Oubre is this year’s Bruce Brown
Wow two starting forwards who can both score!
It’s honestly so nice to see this team exceeding expectations not only with their level of play but with their chemistry and vibes. Especially coming off the brutal end to the Phillies season. This team has been a really welcome surprise and I love watching them play.
Thank god we got rid of Harden too
Why trade for Lavine when there’s a Lavine at home already and his name is Kelly Oubre.
ALL HAIL THE KORK
Oubre is a hit or miss kind of guy but a lot of his looks were quality looks and when he gets quality looks, he’s a different player. What a beast.
And I know it was a quiet game by Tyrese, but it was a good quiet game by Tyrese. Those kind of games add to stability and that stability is what NN wanted to see.
Tobias dunked on these fools, and continues to surprise me with his value. I don’t think he’s consistently a 35 mill player but tonight he was.
The game vs Phoenix can kind of be seen as a testing grounds or at the very least, they’re a different opponent.
Also, glad we’re not the 2015 Houston Rockets.
Maybe Harden’s narcissism, and Doc Williams incompetence was holding this team back?
I don’t see it with OG. Good enough player, but Masai wanting 4 1sts and him wanting max deal seems too much
Why is the southbound BSL full of Temple girls?
They really made Kork do the interview. He’s our Terance Mann. Mr. Untouchable
Kelly Oubre has really been a revelation
Season has been so fun so far. It’s like doc and the scrubs vibes but for every game
MVP

Furk Love
This feels nice. Just winning. Our offense doesn’t look stagnant. Our defense is stellar. Needed this. Thanks Sixers!
Tobias was a beast on both ends
We are becoming a second half/ late game team and I love it. The days of losing a lead in the 4th quarter are hopefully behind us. Oubre was such an amazing addition for us, I can’t believe he was signed to the vet min. He kinda had to shot chuck on the Hornets because thats what they all do but he is a great system player for us and is finding his role really nicely.
Furk didn’t want to leave because he hates it here. He wants to play because he knows he’s good!
Man everyone and everybody criticizing “the system” of years past. Stop calling it the system and just call it fucking DOC.
Most likable team we’ve had in years
Game by game you just wonder how Doc Rivers isn’t in jail for medical malpractice and basketball terrorism.
Fuck it, give Oubre the starter spot until he proves us wrong.
I’ve always believed that role players can look substantially different depending on the system.
Man I like what I’m seeing so far. The high-low action with B Ball feeding to Tobi and then cutting through was going well. Double drag with Melton a few times; interesting but jury is still out on that one. Maxey was amazing attacking the cup, and he was hitting those pocket passes to Jo with better timing as the game went on. A lot to be happy about fs.
Maybe it’s Copium and the fact that it’s only been 4 games, but it feels like they aren’t really missing a beat without Harden.
Still could use another facilitator, but so far they’ve been making it work and more importantly, it’s been fun to watch.
I don’t think we’ve seen anyone dribble the air out of the ball for 18 seconds then scramble to get a shot off
This team looks so much freer out on the court with Nurse.
They’ve officially reeled me back in. I love this team again
Dick came up short for Toronto
Loving what Oubre is doing so far
Fun game. Great D and vibes are great. Deff need more shooting esp with how ass Melton has been.
We can’t max or near max OG. That’d kill us. Let alone trade picks to do it.
He’s not that level of player.
Real solid win. Tobias, Maxey, and Oubre played well, Embiid didn’t have to play too many minutes even with the new acquisitions unavailable, and they even popped the Kork.
Shoutout to lil-extro-vert for wanting Oubre for years. I was wrong about Oubre and didn’t want him, but lil-ev called it right
Oubre is unironically Morey’s best pickup of his Sixers tenure.
Also kind of mad that Springer was robbed of his three. Give this dude more time and chances to handle the rock!
