So much better! Could be interesting, dunno about better, if the “Lakers” was kept horizontal like on the left. The stars really tie it together.
I like that Nike is bringing back a very old design but they should be refreshing the design (like you did) instead of recreating it.

Yours looks better design-wise, but the actual jerseys are based on one of the early iterations of the Lakers logo in the 60’s. That’s why the font is oriented the way it is

I prefer the original but I understand why someone would like yours. I just don’t like the bottom kerning and I think the shape of the circle lacks any power. the pyramid is very aggressive, I like that.
