Adams goin out for the season hurt a lot. The whole offense ran through his prime screen setting and insane offensive rebounding skill. Tyus is missed desperately with his even kiltered, no turnover facilitating. Missing a lot of the remaining bench due to injury and what’s left is a shell of a team. They practically a G league team besides JJJ, Bane and Ja who can’t even play 1/3 of the season. Just awful
Every single player on the Grizzlies should be expendable to get some actual players if they’re serious about contending. That is everyone minus JJJ, Bane and Ja but quite literally everyone else should be considered trade material. Problem is they have been so atrociously bad that none of those benchers have any trade value right now. They out there playin like some traffic cones smh
Sometimes it's best to let go, sit back and enjoy how things unfold. How can anyone expect anything good come out of the current situation: no Ja, no Steve, no Brandon, no Tyus and no pyscho Brooks. Available players, including JJJ, Des, Smart, a jinxed Luke and a washed-up D Rose, show no sign of chemistry, especially when led by a lost coach who seems to be out of his depth. And to assume Ja, after being away from all the action for one third of the season, to have kept himself in tip-top shape physically and mentally, and perform miracles on court without extracurricular activities off court is just a pipe dream. As usual, we'll get there next season for sure! 😉
