Man we’ve just been decimated with injuries to start the season. Unlucky.

It’s not the lakers if there were no injuries at the start of the season. 2 years ago it was Nunn, last year it was Schroder/Bryant
KingMe911
He’ll be back ready to go. I actually don’t mind this at all – Max Christie should get some burn. If the kid knocks down some shots, his length on the perimeter defensively could make him a good 3 and D guy. He’s got a pretty jumper, just hasn’t fallen.
RRV55
When it rains, it pours. Hope for a speedy recovery for him and Vando. Both of them are vital especially to this team’s perimeter defense moving forward
Ham really has to be creative with the DLo-AR-LeBron minutes to ensure that at least one of them is always on the floor for primary creator duties
EbolaPatientZero
As a doctor im not very concerned about vincent or vando based on the limited injury descriptions we have. Wish we knew more about Rui’s eye.

this is why “depth” matters
KingNephew
Hoping it’s nothing long term. But at least our supposed depth is getting tested early.
Smooth_97
i’d trade him for caruso straight up
Lucieddreams
These Nunn comments are getting old. Just gonna copy paste the same uninspired thing any time someone gets an injury?
Gabe is projected to return vs. Sacramento. I don’t think Gabe is really needed during this stretch, which could be good for LA cause maybe it incentivizes playing with more size at the backcourt
TorontoRaptors34
I think this could be a reason for his slump. He missed games in preseason too.

“I want Max Christie to get minutes”

I’m getting Nunn Flashbacks

Blessing in disguise.

damn.. another laker curse.

Gabe Vincent and a 2nd round pick for Royce O’Neal is a trade we need it would improve our backcourt Defense

SCHRODER WAS NEVER INJURED. SCHRODER COULD SCORE BRING BACK SCHRODER
Nightmare4545
Another waste of the MLE. Cant be wasting that much money every year.

So it begins

Conspiracy time. His knee was fucked since the Finals and he knew of any attention was brought to it, it would decrease his chances of getting a contract in the offseason.

Look up knee effusion – this dude is gonna be out until Jan or Feb. Swelling building up around the knee like that is not solved quickly.
He will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Zero chance that he’s back playing in two weeks.
Christie should get minutes, and we should let Hodge play too!
Physical-Lie-345
This is a constant injury for Gabe, not sure if it’s related to his style of play but better strength and conditioning is needed.
wooktar
Well good news is that it’s super early in the season, we have depth, Max will get meaningful minutes, and none of the injuries are serious.

For the next two weeks:
Magic, Heat, Rockets, Suns, Trailblazers, Grizzlies, Kings
