Tatum is playing really smart basketball this season. He used to drive me crazy last season with those dribble dribble sidestep 3s especially when he'd do it 4-5 a quarter and mess up his rhythm for the entire game. His midrange has improved so much from when he entered the league and used to shoot an ungodly amount of 3s and they made him overcorrect it to shooting an ungodly amount 3s.

The assist numbers were only low due to first two games wizards game 31 assist and Indiana game 27 assist
I think the main thing with this Celtics team will be defensive intelligence I think the first two games going against Knicks they feel more comfortable attacking and so do the heat after losing a couple shooters so let them shoot and wizards and Indiana are teams that like to run and take the 3 so make them run off the 3 and if they keep that defensive intelligence we have a very diverse offense with very capable scorers and shooters that it wouldn’t even matter what type of offense we run

This only the tip of the iceberg. Tatum could easily get to the line 5-7 times a game. Once he posts up they’ll be anxious to guard him so if he throws a pump fake they’ll fall for it
