  1. I think even if Wallace significantly outperforms Dort, Lu will retain the starting role.

Lu’s role is to guard the other teams best perimeter player and to be the 5th option on offense. If he comes off the bench, he’d be guarding the Jevon Carter’s of the world, and hoisting up twice as many low percentage shots and turning the ball over in traffic.

We need Cason’s offense off the bench …. You know, it’s like when we used to start Sefolosha over Harden. Clearly Harden was the better player and he was rewarded by earning a role on the closing unit… not with the starting role.

    Wallace can do the same.

I give the team a 7 of 10 overall on the performance. Great outside shooting made up for all those uncharacteristic turnovers. Most of those were just a result of relentlessly trying to push the pace. Guys other than SGA trying to dribble through too much traffic to get to the rim…. When they should have just pulled back and set up the offense. You got to expect the turnovers are reduced in the future.

I loved the team defense during our big runs.

I also think Olivier Sarr might have developed into the type of player our fan base has been wanting to seek in a trade…. To be that 3rd big that can spend some time on the floor against the Brook Lopez types. It appears he spent some time in the weight room and he’s smart with the ball and a quality passer. He seems to be a culture fit…. Team first type of guy.

  2. Chet is gonna take off when J Will comes back. TTFU lets keep it going

  3. I love Dort & like him starting but there has only been one game since early in Dorts rookie yr where Lu came off the bench. That game. 2/10/23. Win vs Port.. Dort 20min 18pts on 6-6 shooting & 3 for 3 on 3pt'rs & +30.. That game SGA had a career best 44pts.7ast. 3stocks. 13-16 FG. 18-19 FT. +22.. Thats crazy.

  4. That first half turnovers is that early rust. Got blown off in the 4th! And to think we didn't need to play micic and bertans and we are down a few of the big men yet win with such a margin. 49 wins till we hit my 50 target.

  5. Gdays guys🇦🇺 hows it going.
I 100% agree with you on giddey.
Obviously as an ozzy giddeys my guy, and he fully deserves to be a starter but i think as you said hes the best at making anyone else good and work, so ill run something past you guys. To me , giggey is the man to have on court with the bench guys to bring out their best.
Maybe josh could start but for only a short time, then be on more with the bench guys maybe?
    Interested to hear your thoughts.
    Luvya work guys🍻

  6. i noticed the NBA reporters gave no credit to OKC for the win, they instead talked about the players only Bulls meeting, i hope the OKC have more nationally televised games this year!

  7. This performance was a 6. This was not OKC basketball. Go back to okcs first game against Indiana. Thats Thunder basketball or even last year's first game against Lakers. THATS Thunder basketball.

  8. Cason will be better than JJRedick. His shot is so pure at only 19 yrs old and he defends at an elite level. He does not hold himself as a 19 yr old, imagine once he's 22.
