If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone get excited about this tournament, I’d have 1 dollar.
Its not supposed to be exciting the first year, it only gets more valuable as the years go on
so… what do players get at the end if their team wins the tourney? a trophy and some cash? that's it?

Regular season games in November are not boring because you never know what if a few games in November that a team wins or loses comes back and haunts them later as it could determine where they finish in the standings. Team A loses 2 games in November and once all 82 games have been played those 2 games Team A lost could determine if they finish 1st or 2nd, determine between starting the playoffs at home or on the road or if they have to play in the play in tournament or not.

I don't like this In-Season Tournament thing one bit. This is like a consolation prize and more fit for the Summer League. That In-Season Tournament BS should belong in the WNBA, not the NBA. It is just retarded.

The winning team should get guaranteed home court advantage for the first two rounds of the playoffs and a minimum of 8 seed as long as they are above 500

This tournament does not mean anything. Winning the championship is all that matters, they can win this thing 10 years in a row and none of the players or coaches would are or think they had achieved anything.It's completely pointless.
No one cares about this "In-Season" Tournament. The players don't. The fans don't. ONLY THE GREEDY NBA THINKS THIS IS A GREAT THING. And the courts look like they are out of an 80s video game.
