Doc Rivers is a literal basketball terrorist
Honestly contract year or not Harris has looked really good these first 5 games, he’s a very solid 3rd option, and tbh I’d want him back on less money after this year. The 3 of Embiid,Maxey and him have chemistry.
Booker missing didn’t help this being a test of our defense vs a good offense but they contained KD pretty well.
Took a week and a trade but Im back all in
We got a squad boys, we just need that one missing piece to win the chip
Loving what I see so far this season
Tsunami Papi season continues 🌊🌊🌊
Loving the vibes. Maxey, Harris, and Jo all having double doubles is great.
This felt like a game we go down to the wire in the past.
My MVP

No Doc. No Harden. Nurse has them playing hard and playing together. That’s all I care about
Kind of weird that we have been better at second half
Is this the so called adjustment?
I have Wednesday circled. LFG!!
wouldve been 5-0 without refball sigh we move
Probably the best BBall Paul game of the young season.
Even when we don’t play well we’re still a lot more fun to watch than last season. We run, we pass the ball, we defend hard. Great job Nurse.
Now just play the goat Korkmaz 30+ every night and I won’t have anything to complain about
if we play well against boston ill start to believe but this start doesn’t really seem that different then other years
It feels good to have an above average offensive coach for the first time in what feels like a lifetime at this point.
Embiid is so fucking good. Even with all the roster turnover he deals with, we’re a top 3 seed regardless of who his coach or teammates are.
Is this what bench depth feels like
This was a great win. If the Suns don’t have Beal and Booker, this is how the game should go for the Sixers.
Wow Oubre took the girl James wanted now he’s about to take some of the Max money James wanted lmaO!!
This was more than Booker being out, KD didn’t even look great for a good half of the game, definitely far less efficient thanks to this new-look defense. LFG!!!
This was certainly one of the basketball games played of all time
Remember last year when Doc Rivers benched Maxey for DeAnthony Melton and idiots in this sub agreed with it?
[The sidebar lied to me about the start time of this game](https://i.imgur.com/Rf89Yib.jpg)
🙁
Nick feels way more forthcoming in pressers than I’m used to.
Nick Nurse has drastically changed the sixers offense.
I said it last game and I’ll say it again.
Harden and Rivers are fuckin bums. Real shit.
Just a reminder for sixers fans… dont hate on James Harden. He got Doc Rivers fired. Which outside of winning a championship is the best thing he could do for any franchise.
The core four of Maxey, oubre, Tobias, Embiid >>>>>>>>
I’m loving this Sixers team
Who’s this Harris guy and why wasn’t he on the team last year? Did he come with the PJ trade?
Never thought Oubre would be jacking up 18 shots a game either
Do not get fooled by Tobias Harris….. its 5 games. Nick Nurse is making his strengths better but he still has the same weaknesses.
Liking Nurse and this squad so far!
How many careers has Doc Rivers ruined? I feel like at least some of the younger guys that flashed potential over the years but never really developed with us could have had a significantly different career trajectory with a more competent coach. Think guys like shake, furk, Matisse, McDaniels, Isaiah Joe, etc.
Like obviously at the end of the day the onus is on those guys to improve and take advantage of the opportunities that are presented, but a good coach figures out ways to utilize young players strengths and puts them in a position to contribute while they develop. I almost feel like I can’t criticize any players we had under docs tenure he was so bad. Except Ben of course he’s beyond helping
I love the fact that we were outscored at the free throw line by 12 and still won by 12. This is a different team and I love it. So much more action and accountability on the defensive end.
I know it’s early and I’m not sure that we enough to win a championship, But someone suggested trading Gordon Hayward. Come on now what are we doing here? Did we learn our lesson trading for overhyped 33 year old players yet?
Nurse saying the right stuff, I hope we never let him go
https://twitter.com/kyleneubeck/status/1720892293866008802
2 things I learned from last years team to this one:
1: Having someone on the floor who can only play one way (Tucker) isn’t worth even if they’re great at d
2: any point guard can average 10/11 assists a game if they have the ball a lot. What harden did for our offense wasn’t special, it was just him taking all the turns.
Btw, did y’all see the Bucks game yesterday? That offense is almost as ugly as the defense. They’ll sort some things out but I don’t know if their HC is gonna make through December. Barley eeked out that win at home against the Knicks with Randle shooting them out of it.
Lmao I’m such a fail didn’t realize the game was at 1
We have the second best NET rating right now. The last time we have the best NET rating we won the championship.
Tobias out here looking like his divorce is final after a long, bitter fight.
Sixers being an absolute joy to watch has to be the ultimate plot twist in the NBA this season
