The Toronto Raptors have the worst half court offense in the NBA. Compound the issue, they can’t seem to grab a defensive rebound to initiate the part of their offense that’s keeping them alive (transition).
Some have suggested that the issue comes down to two issues; Siakam’s lack of authorship, and the lack of spacing around him. Some have taken it further, continuing a myth that the Raptors have taken the ball away from Pascal Siakam under Darko Rajakovic and are promoting Scottie Barnes to head honcho to get him development reps at the COST of winning.
SO let’s examine the data, examine the tape, and see who’s lying this time.
Also a note on advanced stats, and how the 2021 draft class including Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, Jalen Suggs, Franz Wagner, Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes are doing so far.

Quite frankly, I love this brand of the Raptors. I find the games exciting and believe this team just gets better as the season goes.
When the team is totally engaged, they can throw a team totally off.
My expectations this season was improvement from Scottie, Goatunoby, and Ginger Flynn. Im satisfied

Samson staying on the edge is what bothers me the most. And also, Samson writing that article about Scottie’s pnr’s was to prove that Fred was a better point guard. He’s using his platform as propaganda for siakam and he doesn’t even have the guts to admit it
Unrelated but Fred shooting 4/14 from 3 against the kings…every game this guy plays with the rockets just emphasizes how good it is that he’s not in Toronto anymore. Holy shit. 4/14?! From 3?!

Rob you’re not doing the same difference is you show the film (aka the visible proof) they put out just words either verbally or through text. These people are essentially handing in an essay with weak arguments that have no reliable sources, where you are handing in an essay with well supported arguments and respected sources.
The thing that gets me is they know what they’re doing and they know their influence on the entire Raptors community. Like how Will Lou can say we haven’t cracked 100 points in regulation through the first 4 games….only for that to be incorrect yet garner 300+ likes and 20+ retweets.
Will has blamed Siakams poor performance on not getting minutes or the ball….yet the last two years they’ve (the Raptors Show) been wanting less minutes for Siakam….please make it make sense.
😂🤣 the big stat they were springing on fans last season was ONLY Lebron, Jokic, and Siakam had averaged 24/7/5…so I flipped it on them and said ONLY Jokic and Randle averaged 25/10/4. 😂
Play siakam first half and lower his usage at the forth quarter

Schroder DEFINITELY needs less possessions. He's good but he's not good enough to take all the possessions he's taking.
I'd argue the shooting IS a massive problem. We're getting pretty wide open looks and thankfully Dennis and Scottie are hitting them above their averages by quite a bit. Gary has always been streaky as hell and I've never liked counting on him as somebody to space the floor, OG is your single most reliable shooter and he drives more than he shoots 3s it seems. Teams will let us have those 3s and just take away the paint every time. Eventually that shooting from Scottie especially is gonna come down. Maybe not to what he was shooting before but he's been unreal to start so far from where he was. If Gary continues to miss every wide open shot and Gradey can't find the net, we're really counting on OG and Dennis Schroder to space the floor? I'm not counting Otto cause until I see the guy play more than one in every 6 games he's a non factor.
