I’ve actually seen an individual on this sub (who I will not name but it rhymes with meanie-sac) who even tried defending that by saying Randle’s cover was Giannis so he had no responsibility.
Like bruh – the game is 1 point with the final seconds left and your team is scrambling on defense, its literally basketball 101 to play help and rotate over and defend the basket and you trust your teammates with rotating over to guard Giannis (who isnt even in the picture)

I was pleasantly surprised when Randle put together a few solid possessions down the stretch (“he’s just been saving himself for crunch time”) but yeah then he just stopped trying.
