With the new in-season tournament, the Golden State Warriors travelled for a road game against the OKC Thunder. I finally want to focus on the Dubs’ best addition so far this season in Chris Paul. With 54 assists and only 6 turnovers on the year, I wanted to highlight CP3’s incredible 1 point, 13 assist performance, so let’s get to it.

Cp3 seems to be the missing piece in the warriors team.. well done.. waiting for the championship trophy 🏆
After the buzz wore off on the CP3 trade, I figured that he’ll be used to handle the 2nd unit and giving him a combination of vet and youth, they’ll dominate every second unit in the league. The last 2 games, if it were not for CP3’s second unit, extending the score or erasing the deficit, would have been loses. The first unit would have to work double time and won’t have enough in the 4th. Moving forward, I see the 2nd unit even playing more minutes if they are in a groove. It’s just good coaching to ride a combination that opponents can’t figure out and extended the lead as big as possible.
Once cp3 starts his medi game, 2nd unit gonna look like starters!
Not only is CP3 the leader of the 2nd unit, he's the coach too. A couple of times he huddled them up during the game. This is what Draymond was talking about in his ability to mentor the younger players.
Backup point guard is THE most underrated position in basketball. Two recent examples: 1) Tyus Jones in the regular season when Ja Morant was out meant the Grizzlies basically had similar winning percentage, and they are going to really hurt this year without him. 2) Kyle Lowry off the bench during last year’s Miami Heat playoff run, even if he wasn’t scoring all the time, he was the Captain and orchestrator of that second unit.
Why y’all keep showing Jordan pool ???
I also think CP3 is perfect for GSW because of his leadership inside the court..I hope will get the elusive championship ring❤❤❤
Something different about this year’s squad fr they winning in different ways, close, overtime, comfortable and by blowout. They even had a chance to win the first game of the year, wich they had no business even being in with how poorly they were playing. 💙🤍💛
GSW get a chip this year….smh I’m koppin a CP3 jersey! #StrengthInNumbers #DubNation #RoadWarriors
💙🤍💛💙🤍💛💙🤍💛💙🤍💛💙🤍💛💙
CP scored 1 point in this game.
In the post game he said " i never had this luxury where i score 1 point, and still win the game"
He doesn't have to push very hard, and this works for him bcz of his age.
This is going to be a great season
Before the szn started I doubted Saric. I like him a lot tho. I hope he can stay consistent and keep putting up 20 every other night. Something Bijilica could’ve been
13 assists, 0 turnover, yeah I’ll have him over Poole.
CP3 has been incredible. Can’t believe people doubted him.
The Thunder's starters hammered the Warriors' starters 102 to 84, but the Warriors' second unit kept them in position for Curry's shot to win the game. 👀
2 types of warriors basketball:
1. Warriors system
2. Cp3 system 😤
1 point 13 assists, he didn't have to score he just needs to control the tempo. CP3 is finally where he belongs and I hope he gets his ring this time
There's a big difference when CP3 leading the 2nd unit compare to JP3. Only Warriors have this kind of luxury for a 10 men rotations.
It'll offset SC's constant TOs!!
Watch, learn and appreciate him as a true point god they come rarely especially today in the NBA.
The amazing thing he is only 6'0 but clamly goes into the paint whenever he likes rarely have I ever seen his shot block.
He wasnt appreciate with the Suns by some player his coach did the year they got to the finals was solely on him.
Year after a number of egos starters got tired of his leadership mouth particularly Crowder in one game Paul try to instruct him on a time out he walk by shine him on Paul face look that was the end of Suns.
Warriors still undersize but a good under when it comes to him.
Guys, guys, guys, it's not entirely CP3….
You forget the GOAT coach 😅😅. Hand that man the 15 worst players in the NBA and he'll take that team to the playoffs.
That's the only way I can justify/understand how the Phoenix Suns handed us 2 great players who were feared to be 'washed up'.
