We should stick to developing Lively, he’s been awesome so far for a rookie. The only thing we should do is get a true backup center & trade for an elite defensive wing at the deadline or next offseason when we will have all our picks available

Lively is our starting C. The Mavs should be looking for a backup. Surprising that Holmes hasn’t got a single minute, but if he can’t earn time ahead of Powell you can pencil in his trade value at zero.

Disagree with everyone thinking a 230 pound Center is adequate. I’m not anti Lively but he’s still skinny against meaty centers who have low post game or can drive.
But I don’t think the Hawks do that trade. Capela and Bey are both good players, bet positive separately. Together that’s a talented package.
