I thought he’d be a better fit than Dennis. I’m glad to have been wrong.
I do still think he would have been a great acquisition to get along with Dennis instead of McDaniels, but that wouldn’t have been realistic. Who knows, maybe in a couple months we could swap Boucher for him or something…

Gabe has a FVV type game minus the power Fred was strong for his size.
Im glad we lost out on him , Dennis is a better upgrade than both of them , honestly I really didn’t know he was this good considering he’s bounced around a bit although he really had a good last season with the Lakers.
If Dennis can keep this up long term , it’s a steal for our FO , He can run an offence break down the defender and get to the rim , hits his mids and shoots the 3 at a respectable clip.
His defence is good pokes balls and can drop dimes , he’s a traditional pure point guard.

Averaging 17/9 on 46% shooting is an absolute steal for the contract we gave him.

Eh. That Lakers situation is tough. Gabe would work here for sure. Not as the starting point guard mind you, which would be way too much to ask of the dude anyways
