[Greenberg]: You can add assistant coaches, you can change the point guard, you can add an elite offensive 3rd option, none of that truly matters. At the end of the day, it remains true that ultimately things come down to the play/late game decision making of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown

[Brad, Ime, Joe, Kemba, Smart, Jrue. There is one constant. It’s up to them to not fall into bad habits](https://twitter.com/stoolgreenie/status/1721750781479760243?s=46&t=tcFBg9NYlJrYTwubZ13Pjg)
Some of you guys are willing to go to crazy lengths to excuse Jayson and Jaylen for their shortcomings the last 2 seasons. At some point you gotta face the music. We’ve changed EVERYTHING around them and these problems still occur.
Like, I would love to hear someone justify these two possessions by the Jays: https://twitter.com/StoolGreenie/status/1721755416999465423. Because apparently when this same kind of late-game iso offense happened last year, it was somehow Smart’s fault.
Finally someone who gets it. Insanity, next up the fanbase will start up the trade Brown threads if it doesn’t change once again.
KP got froze out late in this one, just fucking set highs screens with him. It’s the easiest action and it creates so much space.
Why make it easy on yourself when you can just go one on one with one of the best perimeter defenders in the league? McDaniels was fucking awesome tonight as a point of attack defender, but at some point you gotta look for something easy when he’s blowing up action after action up top.
The truth this sub hates to hear
Jesus christ one loss and this sub loses it. Lol
For real tho. Tatum and brown need to take a hard look at themselves. Shot selection be looking like Jordan Poole sometimes
Is he saying we trade JB?
This is true but they also won 2 close ones in New York and against Miami. It stings but it’s an early season loss to a good defensive team on the road without one of our starters. I understand being annoyed that the ending looked really similar to other losses but it’s too early to freak out. Take it, own it, learn from it.
Good grief people, looking at the thread you would’ve thought we’re 0-6 this season. One loss and this sub turns into chaos
We lost by 5 points in OT to the #1 defensive team in the league on our 6th game in early November. While shooting like absolute fucking crap. Discussion is cool but the theatrics are getting out of hand, my god.
God forbid the coach do some coaching. Don’t want them going 1-1 and jacking up a contested 3? Try calling timeout and drawing up a play. It doesn’t have to be this way.
This sub and the Patriots sub makes me genuinely hate being associated with some of the fans of the teams I love.
Fans are and forever will be the worst part of sports.
Mazzulla was beyond bad in this one. No TO before regulation, no TO when Edwards was tearing us a new one in OT. The arena’s roof was about to blow off and our players were totally flustered out there. Perhaps he wanted to see if his methods still sucked. And, yes, they definitely do.
It’s not Jayson and Jaylen. It’s Jaylen.
Damn I really thought they were going 82-0
uhh, it’s one game…did we also forget Horford fumbling the ball late too? It’s just so easy pointing the fingers at the Jays
