    Small sample size but if nobody is seeing the difference from russ between last year and now must be blind. Will probably be on way lower usage rate now too

    I mean ant Edwards is in if the worst iso players according to this. So yea.

    Russ has been slowly getting that cotton shot back to what it used to be. He’s been awesome for us, unafraid on offense and tenacious on D

    Two things:

    1.) He’s off to a fantastic start with his jump shooting compared to who he has been in the past. That’s a great thing

    2) His jump shooting percentages are currently WAY out of line with his career. 3-10 feet he’s shooting 59% while his career average is a bit above 34% 10-16 he’s currently at 83% (small sample) vs. a career average of 39.4%. Compare these to even the absolute peak of his prime and they are substantially better numbers.

    Obviously we all want him to keep up the shooting but it’s definitely worth being a bit wary about, numbers that far off of his career average scream small sample size and probably not sustainable.

    Additional note: This doesn’t mean I’m saying he’s a trash player or that he should be cut or whatever, please don’t get overly sensitive. Just trying to add some additional context to where some of these awesome PPP numbers are coming from (likely unsustainable jump shooting)
