They're doing wild things like [checks notes] pressuring the ball, communicating on *and* off the ball, peeling in early … it's good stuff!

Our communication has been great, and you can see what that type of ball pressure does to teams. They either have to: 1) have a non-shooter shoot with very little time left on the clock, 2) a shooter has to make a tough contested shot, or 3) they turn the ball over.
It’s interesting to see us more focused on putting teams in purgatory and taking it upon ourselves to not bail them out. It’s been fun to watch teams panic.
Watching this gave me so much more appreciation of Fred’s contribution on the defensive end. Aside from flashy things like the occasional swipes, he’s so good at being in the right place at the right time
